Research Interests and activities
Proteomics and Structural Biology Unit specializes in investigating proteins in human and other organism under the situation of normal, disease and stress, including:
- Proteomics in research of cancer and other diseases: leukemia, hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, breast cancer and infectious diseases.
- Study of mitochondrial DNA alterations, enzymes, reactive oxygenous species, antioxydants in relation to human diseases.
- Structural Biology: Structure analysis, modelling, simulation and design of protein in drug development.
- Use medaka and zebrafish as models for studying physiological and pathological processes in human.
